I'm going to write a proper review of it, but some quick impressions
It fell to thom to select the tracks out of the 30 that were played.
This is a total brain dump, sorry, I'm a bit overwhelmed.
They had a ton of cameras. It includes incredible drone shots of Sydney harbour. They got the birds that randomly circled the stage in dawn chorus. Lot of shots of the audience lost in the moment. Couples and friends hugging and having moments. It's quite poetic in parts. They've edited the stage screen effects into the surrounding sky in places in a truly awesome way. Thom enters with no fuss and exits with a terse thank you and is gone. They used the atoms for peace version where the drum machine did not start, so thom sang acapella right out over the whole harbour, and they really captured the magic of that moment. Thom's hair blowing in the wind during rabbit. I saw myself a bit at the end, singing along to all i need. A lot of these shots took me powerfully back to the show, they were exactly how I remembered it. Feels incredible to have this record of what I'm going to come out and say were the best shows of my life. And I just saw radiohead live. This is the best proshot I've seen of Thom/radiohead by far. The editing is superb. It's not just cut together, it's arranged as a piece of art. Not to mention the pristine sound engineering. The vox fx on thom made a lot more sense to me hearing them like this. Clear. Bass in black Swan also really sweet. Hearing Damage sounded badass. Everything in its right place stood out to be as maybe one of the best versions I've ever heard of it. Let down also - that performance of it is one of the best Thom has ever given. Fuck i love this thing. I spent the entire film in total awe.
Right, I'll have to make sense of this later... safe to say I liked it
Je suis assez persuadé que ça sortira en vente d'une façon ou d'une autre et que ça lancera l'arrivée de l'everything tour en Europe.
Je mets une bille sur la philharmonie et les arènes de Lyon en juin.
