Radiohead are to play a free concert for BBC Radio 2 this April.

The gig, to be held at the BBC's Radio Theatre, situated in central London's Broadcasting House, is open to fans who can apply for, or win, tickets.

Fans can call 08700 100 200 to apply for tickets to the intimate gig - passes will also be given away on Radio 2 shows.

The gig takes place on April 1, and will be the band's first live appearance since their tiny show at London's 93 Feet East venue in January.

--- Citer ---Ce sont en fait deux sets que donnera le groupe le 1er avril depuis les studios de la BBC. Le premier sera retransmis lors du Steve Lamacq Show du jour-même entre 16h et 19h (heures anglaises). Le second lors du Radcliffe And Maconie Show entre 20h et 22h (heures anglaises).
Le groupe donnera aussi plusieurs interviews, dont la plus importante sera diffusée lors du Steve Wright Show sur Radio 2.

The timings of the shows are:
Afternoon:
Doors open: 13.30
Doors close: 14.15 sharp
Show time: 14.30
 

Evening:
Doors open: 19.30
Doors close: 20.30 sharp
Show time: 21.15
 

w.a.s.t.e has 40 pairs of tickets to give away for the afternoon performance and 40 pairs of tickets to give away for the evening performance.

If you would like to apply for tickets, you need to e-mail bbcshow@waste.uk.com by the 25th March 2008. Please state in the subject area of your e-mail if you are applying for afternoon or evening tickets. The body of your e-mail must include your full name and full address.

ID must be taken to the show or entry will not be granted. Tickets are free and ticket pairs will be randomly allocated. Successful applicants will be e-mailed directly on Wednesday 26th March 2008. You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets per household and you must make your own way to and from the event.
