Extrait : I saw them play last May, hearing them play “Burn the Witch” and all that live. And I remember thinking before that, “How the fuck are they going to do that live?” But it was like, “Wow.” They were on such good form, man, it was amazing.
I’ve got an idea for the next one—for the live version of that (points at Moon Shaped Pool) I’ve got to learn how to do something. Do the artwork anyway.

Ed O'Brien entre en studio pour son album solo. Il souhaite terminer l'enregistrement d'ici l'été prochain, avec une sortie fin 2018-début 2019. Hop, c'est la saison des projets solos qui redémarre. Ce qui, en étant optimiste, ne donnera rien du côté de RH avant 2019-2020 (et je parle de sessions studios uniquement! :wtf:)

L'interview complète du bonhomme dans Esquire est intéressante et donne quelques infos supplémentaires
O'Brien confirme à nouveau dans cet entretien, quelques dates de tournée pour le groupe l'année prochaine.
Extrait : "Yes there are some tour dates being looked at for Radiohead next year."
Il revient aussi sur la nomination du groupe au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame qui ne l'enthousiasme guère.
Extrait : "With British bands, there was a lot of hostility. It’s in our DNA to be a little ambivalent with award ceremonies. We haven’t had great experiences. I would never want to disrespect anything because obviously some amazing artists have been nominated. But if I’m honest I don’t understand it."
Et surtout, ED nous parle de sa guitare, la Fender EOB Sustainer Stratocaster, fruit de sa collaboration avec Fender (!) et qui est disponible à la vente dès aujourd'hui.
Extrait : "If I have to I can do the whole gig with one guitar—maybe two—that and a Rickenbacker. It’s great that you can go with a flick of a switch you can go from this great Strat to something more experimental. I can be a lot more in the moment. If you’re changing guitars every song your hands are adjusting. It’s a constant thing. It allows me to play in a different way."
